How do I add blocks to sections?

Assign the shopify section component

• Navigate to the specific section where you want to add the component, identified here as "section product block."

• Assign the Shopify section component to this section.

Publish the page

• Once the Shopify section component is assigned, proceed to publish the page.

Copy the page ID

• After publishing the page, go to the top of your browser and copy the page ID from the URL. Focus on the part of the URL that appears after the slash, for example, /206.

Navigate to theme customization

• Go to your theme settings by clicking on "Customize" in your Shopify theme options.

Paste the page ID

• In the theme customizer, search for the option to input a page ID and paste the previously copied ID there. This will allow you to access the theme editor for that specific page.

Modify the section content

• Now that you are in the theme editor, you can modify the content within the assigned Shopify section. Make any necessary adjustments to the products or content displayed within the section.

Refresh and verify changes

• After making changes, publish them and wait for a couple of minutes to allow Shopify to process and update the data.

• Refresh your page to see if the updates have been applied correctly. If not immediately visible, Shopify might take a short time to reflect the changes.

Drag and drop to re-adjust (if necessary)

• If further adjustments are needed, you can drag and drop components within the Shopify section to better align with your page design.

Finalize and publish

• Once satisfied with the setup and adjustments, finalize the changes by publishing the page.

• Verify everything is appearing as intended on the live site.

• Make further edits if necessary and republish.
