What happens if I remove Replo from my store?
Last updated: February 19, 2026
What Happens After Uninstalling Replo
If you uninstall Replo from your Shopify store:
- Your existing pages remain live — Pages and sections you've already published will continue to be accessible on your store unless you delete them from your Shopify admin.
- You cannot publish changes — Even if you make edits in the Replo editor, you won't be able to publish them without reinstalling and being on a paid plan.
- Analytics data collection stops — The Replo Pixel is automatically removed from your site, so you'll no longer see Analytics data for your pages. If you reinstall later, you'll see historical data from before you disconnected, but not data from the period Replo was uninstalled.
Important Considerations
- Your subscription may remain active — If you uninstall the Replo app without first downgrading to the free plan, your subscription will remain active. You must manually cancel your subscription in your Replo Workspace billing settings.
- Theme files may need manual cleanup — Shopify does not allow Replo to automatically clean up unused files. To remove them manually, inspect your
theme.liquidfile for references toreplo-head.liquidand delete any theme files starting with "replo". See Does Replo leave around unused files in my Shopify store's theme? for details.
Alternative: Downgrade to Free Plan
Instead of uninstalling, you can keep Replo installed and downgrade to the free plan. This allows you to:
- Maintain access to your existing pages in the Replo editor
- View (but not publish changes to) your pages
- Avoid the need for manual theme cleanup
See How do I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my Replo plan? for instructions.
